I love your books they are stunning. I do create my own vision books month by month but nothing like this. Really love seeing how the seasons evolve within the pages. Beautiful 💕

What a beautiful idea! I love binding my own books too. I won’t go so far as to call myself a book artist, though; I stick to fairly simple structures, but love combining different kinds of papers — mostly junk — creating pretty covers, and filling the pages up with art.

Your project sounds lovely! While I am absolutely fascinated by eco printing and the whole idea of working with natural elements, living in a sprawling urban jungle means that I don’t have access to much natural material, and for all my wanting, I’ve kind of just given up on eco printing. The logistics of it are beyond me!

Thank you. Many trees that grow in cities are good for eco printing but the process can be a bit off putting. I tend to keep it simple and work with trusty leaves like hazel, oak and sycamore. By the way we are all artists ❤️

Yes, the process is quite off putting indeed! And I agree, we are all artists! I love playing with mixed media in my journals.

So stunning!! What a lovely idea, especially connecting to the seasons so intimately through creativity 💜💜 Saving this so I can read more thoroughly later…🥰

Hi Fiona, Love this idea but I'm not sure I can fit anything else in atm. Is it possible to join individual projects and to have some idea what each will cover before signing up? Many thanks, Jane x

Hi Jane, each season we will be taking a different book pattern. We will be using the season to inspire and resource our project. We are starting from the beginning of time inspired by early book forms and will get more complex as we move through the seasons. I will be supplementing this with lots of talk on previous book projects, some of which you will know, others you won't. Some of the patrons have jumped in so I am aware that they are now in two projects and will try and bare that in mind. I am trying to keep the book arts project as flexible as possible. If you want any more info just email me cos I don't want to spoil any creative surprises! Sending love xxx
