I'm an artist with a tiny van too and read your post because of that. Then I saw the wood around the interior back windows and thought, that looks like Molly's van! Then I read on and found you're her mum. 😊 I follow Molly on YouTube {and here too} - that was a lovely circular moment. Your van looks so comfy - always fun to see another artist with a van and learn how they use it and what it means to them.
Lovely post Fiona, and so inspiring! I don't have a wee van unfortunately but I am spending my retirement 'wandering and wondering' and making more seasonal art. Thank you for sharing xx
A studio van. Such a great idea ... a mobile "she shed," if you'll pardon the jargon. And a loyal companion to keep you company as well as safe. You are Frank's "herd," of course. I miss my own little Cinch who became quite ferocious when a youngster. I'm new to your page, so I hope to see some of your work soon.
Well I have just got myself a van as I will be finishing “employed work “ at 59 after 38 yrs working in woodland ecology. My husband passed away 10 years ago and we always hoped to have a van for roaming about Scotland nature watching. You have filled me with a confidence that I can do this on my own with my collie In my van called Moss! I do have space for my two daughters - just but mostly it will be me and my dog. Am so looking forward to some time to think and just be. Your daughter’s partner is indeed talented.

I am indeed. Her brilliant partner did both our vans. Nice to meet you x
