The ducks may be in a row, but they might not all look the same. If they do look the same, we've overindexed—in which overindexed is a term I use far too much. I now plan to say "This row of ducks is overindexed" at every possible opportunity I get. 😁
"As the season unfolds it will, no doubt, take me off in other directions but a sense of ‘blooming’ remains my core direction". What a perfect foundation for the season ahead 🌼. All good wishes to you Fiona X
I'm the same, I don't cope well with the heat of summer so it's definitely a time to slow down for me too.
I find changing your creative space to reflect the coming season to be a really grounding ritual. I do this at the beginning of each season in my writing space.

Really love that!

We are so on the same page. x
I slow down in the summer too, the heat is exhausting here
We shall slow down together. Even our wee Scottish island is heating up year on year.
I’m also going to imagine it was rose tea you were drinking Fiona, just to complete the picture 🫖
I do drink rose tea made from my own roses but you probably know that as well 😀
