What a lovely read on a Sunday morning. Love your ideas, it’s motivated me to wander round the garden to pick some bits to dry -my hydrangea is a good place to start… 🧡

What does your drying rack look like and could it be placed by a radiator? My kitchen is too full of steam from the kettle and cooking. How do I keep the colour of lavender and roses. Thank you, great post Fiona!

It is just an old empty picture frame with muslin fabric stretched over it and secured at the back. I use a staple gun but small tacks would do. Look for a large frame in a charity store. I wouldn’t put it by a radiator as you want the drying to happen slowly. I have mine on the top of a wall cabinet in my studio but top of a wardrobe would do. X

I love these suggestions Fiona thank you for sharing, I wasn’t sure what to do with the hydrangeas so will try your recommendation this weekend. Perfect.

I use the wee florets in my wreath making. You just need a blob of hot glue. Xx
