Hello folks, I hope you are all well? As I write our wee island is getting battered by a big storm so I am in my kitchen with a cuppa and connecting with all of you. Last week we saw a gentle nod from winter with some cold days and nights and even a blush of snow. Snow at ground level is actually rare for the island as our weather is dictated by the relatively warm Gulf Stream.
I have been busy getting ready for our next seasonal project where we have the option of making our own paper. If you don’t fancy it or don’t have the time please don’t worry because there are lots of places to buy handmade paper. Our winter project will be looking at the different types of paper out there before making/buying some pieces to then make into small books perfect for when the year turns. I use my small books like this to make creative affirmations and plans for the year ahead but you will find a use that suits you. As always, there is no rush and we must all work at a pace that suits us.
