You write so beautifully Fiona, you make me want to drop what I’m doing (cooking the dinner), and head back to the nature trail I walked this afternoon. Bad timing, I doubt the latest giant courgette concoction would survive for an extra half an hour but I’ll be out later for a pivot and I cannot wait!
Beautiful images and a wonderful philosophy to noticing the world around us. So many times, we sit in the same chair looking out the same window at the same perspective. Just a pivot to another window or look at the garden at a different time of day from a different place, and it morphs into something amazing.
Oh I loved reading this today. I have heard of these pivots as living backwards. I am an autumn woman at heart but the changing light at this time of year is nothing short of magical.
You have captured lovely photographs of these mushrooms. I do come across different ones on the Isle of Anglesey, I have never seen a red one so I must look more closely. I must try the Alice moments, I might see different things.
I do love mushrooms & toadstools & think they are the most ‘fairy cute’ of creations however, here in Australia we are all just running a little bit shy of mushrooms etc now following a bizarre case that has been playing out in court here. 😕🍄🟫🍄😕

That made me chuckle. Got to love a giant courgette thingy. Xx

Yes I agree. Thank you for popping by.

They are rare here and I almost missed it 😉

Yes I think I have seen that case. We will stick to fairy cute, love that.
It truly has been rather odd. I am all in favour of sticking with ‘fairy cute’!!
Oh how lovely, the 'Alice moments'!
And yes, autumn always...or 'Indian Summer' for me 😁
Indeed x
Just perfect. X
